The 1st Rajko Koritnik International Singing Competition 2025 is finished. 9 singers, who were selected from 28 competitors in Saturday’s preliminary round, competed in the final, which took place today at 5 pm in Dvorana prve slovenske vlade Ajdovščina.
GLORIA MOJICA CASTILLO, mezzo-soprano (Mexico): 1st prize, gold plaque;
ESTHER MICHEL-SPRAGGETT, soprano (France): 2nd prize, gold plaque;
MILLY FORREST, soprano (United Kingdom): 3rd prize, gold plaque, Public award;
BETI BRATINA, soprano (Slovenia): gold plaque;
JURICA JURASIĆ KAPUN, baritone (Croatia): gold plaque;
STEFAN PETKOVIĆ, baritone (Serbia): gold plaque;
SANGUK SEO, baritone (South Korea): gold plaque;
HANA SALIHOVIĆ, soprano (Bosnia and Herzegovina): gold plaque;
MARIE MAGROFUOCO, mezzo-soprano (Belgium): gold plaque.
The jury also awarded a Special award to a promising competitor under 25 years of age. The recipient is OLEKSANDR NASTASIICHUK, tenor (Ukraine), who won a silver plaque in Saturday’s preliminary round.

We also sincerely thank and congratulate the three official accompanists of the competition, who did their demanding job excellently: Beatrice Zonta, Vladimir Mlinarić and Marko Kanalec.
